Oceanbox Designs® Lightmaxx™ Stands for Orbit Marine Standard/PRO/IC LOOP LED elevates the light fixture 3.5″ above the water level for better light spread and reduce shadowing. The extra head room also allowing easier tank access for cleaning and maintenance. The light stands can be locked in place via a nylon thumb screw.

These are made in high quality to hold up your current satellite LED lights. Even though this is a more saltwater oriented aquarium website, I use them on my freshwater planted tank, and the light rise eliminated any shadowing, so all my plants have gotten equal light distributed, and makes any type of maintenance a breeze!

I had my heart set on getting the Current USA orbit marine LED for a long time now. And when I discovered these stands it was too good to be true. Especially since they are some of the only ones on the market that specifically accommodate this light! I have the Mr. Aqua 12 gal long, identical to the photos on this site. Sooo sexy. Lifts just enough to still maintain a low profile sleek look. These stands also raise it just enough to get your expensive light away from turbulent splashes caused by circulation pumps. Before hand, I noticed water droplets forming with condensation underneath my fixture every morning (SUCH A BUMMER!) Problem solved with Lightmaxx. Well made – DOES COME WITH A PAIR! COUNT EM’! The stands do a great job helping with the light spread and aesthetics of the tank! Another huge bonus is that now I can feed or clean the tank without removing the light. Worth every penny!
