Can’t see myself not having this scraper, it makes maintenance so much easier
I’ve been using the mini magnetic scraper to keep my P1G clean. The problem with that alone is the back panel where the overflow is located. The magnetic scraper couldn’t clean that surface. I also had some more resilient algae start growing after a busy period at my job where I didn’t have time to pay much mind to the tank. With this scraper, I screwed on the plastic blade and went to town. The stronger algae came off very easily and quickly. It also gets into the tight corners a little easier than the magnetic scraper. It is plenty long enough for the 1 gallon pico reef, but I also use it on my 20 long. One important point in my decision to try this scraper was the difficulty in finding tiny scrapers. I searched all over the place and could not find a small scraper without a metal blade. When I discovered this one, it was a no-brainer.
