Requirement:

- Evaporation lowers the water level in the overflow box, causing air intake and noise. The ATO maintains the level, preventing bubbling and gurgling.

Received this item and had issues from the get go. Causing the filter to sputter causing micro bubbles to flood the tank. Needless to say coral were not happy. Had to adjust the flow of the filter to all the way on its lowest setting for this to work properly. And in the middle of the night it started sputtering again and again flooding the tank with micro bubbles. It was the middle of the night so I messed with the filter flow again till it stopped but according to the manufacture this item does best with a ato system to keep the water level the same all the time.
